Store Policies

Return Policy

Generation Building Center will accept any returns from our store accompanied by a sales invoice receipt within 45 days of original purchase date.  All returns are subject to approval:

1. Damaged/Defective goods
2. Opened goods
3. Building materials in sell-able condition (15% handling fee subject to apply)

Refund Policy

Credit Card: Refund will be issued back to card (card must be present)

Cash Sales: Cash will be refunded up to $50; any cash returns over $50 will receive a company check

Check: Refund will be issued after a minimum of 7 business days in cash/check

Special Order Policy

No returns on non-stock special order items.

It is against the law to write a bad check in Minnesota.

Checks returned to us for nonpayment are subject to a service charge of $30.  Addition civil penalty may be imposed on checks returned for nonpayment after 30 days.  MN Statute 604.113

Charge Account Policy

Charge accounts for GHBC are now available.  Credit applications are available in store or can be emailed upon request.  Rita is the contact person in the office for charge accounts, she can be contacted at rkrause@generationhbc.com. Account bills must be paid with cash or check, no credit cards will be accepted.
